You see, all of my life I have basically been interested in 2 things I’m talking from about the age of 6. The first thing is self discovery. I went to Catholic school as a kid in NYC and I remember always questioning what I was told by the nuns. Their response of telling me to accept what they were saying because it said so in the Bible never worked for me. I was just too curious and I wanted proof for myself. I wanted to find out why I’m here, what my purpose in life is and how to live up to my highest potential at all times. I know it may seem a bit unusual for a first grader to be asking these kinds of questions, but I assure you that this unusual first grader was doing just that.
As I grew older, not only did I want to know the answers to those questions for myself but also I wanted to know how to help other people find out their own purpose and how to release their own power and live in the FLOW of life. In reality what all of that really means to me is becoming truly free. Free to live life exactly how you were designed to live it.
I mean being fearless, I mean being your word, doing what you say with power and certainty. I mean being an example to others by the quality of your own life. To me, a part of being free also means to have freedom in the way that you create income. Money is necessary in this world for freedom. The more money that you have access to the more you can truly be self expressed. Having your own business and understand how to create wealth with your business will allow you to become truly self expressed as a result. I hope that this blog and everything connected to it will help you to become completely free and fully self expressed in your life.

Why would you consider having a network marketing Internet business instead of going belly to belly? Network 
marketing has been an opportunity for the average person to make an extraordinary income for quite a while now. The history is actually quite interesting. I won’t at this time get into a history lesson, but if you are interested, google “network marketing history” and you might find some things that are pretty eye opening. When the first network marketing sprouts where forming there were no computers or cell phones. This means there were no webinars, no conference calls, no blogging, no autoresponders etc. In fact, about 90% of the tools that we have available to us today, were simply not available 60 and 70 years ago.
That said, it’s obvious that the beginnings of network marketing were all about networking, meeting people face to face. Traveling around town, going door to door and looking for a sale is really where it started. Door to door sales with an extra incentive, that being that the prospect could also potentially become a sales agent. At the time, it’s what people were used to, many people made a comfortable full time income selling door to door. Most business was conducted belly to belly. Some spit in the hand with a firm shake was all that was needed to cement a business relationship for good. In some ways it was a much simpler time. Things moved a lot slower then. There was no fast food, no tweets and instant messaging. Families still sat around the dinner table and discussed their lives. I guess that may still happen today, but being raised by a single mom in NYC, I wouldn’t know much about that.
Overtime, some things changed in that meetings were sometimes held in hotels and as the use of the telephone became more common more business could be conducted over the phone. That was just the natural progression. Just like the invention of the combustion engine fazed out the reliance on horses for mobility, so has technology fazed out the necessity of what I call old school network marketing. This is no way means that relying solely on warm market prospecting doesn’t work. I’m sure your have heard of many stories where these methods have brought individuals to the top of pay plans. I’m sure that there will be those in the future that use these methods successfully as well. The thing is though that just like a horse and buggy will get you from NYC to Los Angeles. A Porsche will get you there much faster. Still, there are some people like the Amish in Pennsylvania that prefer the horse and buggy, they have every right to and that’s part of what makes life so interesting.
For many though the idea of asking friends and family to join you in business is a very uncomfortable proposition. This is very understandable and could very well be part of the reason that the phrase was coined, “don’t mix business with pleasure”. Again, for some this method has been very successful, but that fact that there is a 97% failure rate in this industry should not be ignored either. Should we believe that 97% of all people that get started in network marketing are inherently lazy. Since currently 9% of our country is unemployed I’m going to say, that based on pure math that is simply not the case.
So what is it? Why are so many people unsuccessful in this industry?
I don’t believe that you can point the finger at one specific thing and say that is the sole culprit. There are several factors involved.
The primary factor however is still the individual. In all honesty, most people were just not cut out to take the amount of rejection that you get when using the old school methods. That’s why many people who get involved just don’t take enough action. Most people find the word “no” painful. Fewer people have a skin thick enough to really not care. So people stop prospecting, in order to avoid the pain. Then they either quit the industry or join another company in the hopes that this time it will be easier. Obviously it won’t if you are using the same methods.
The new school method of network marketing means having a network marketing Internet business and is very different in that you are using tools to do the initial prospecting for you. You have systems in place to weed out the individuals that are going to say no. You never have to hear those no’s anymore. The system actually finds the people that initially are saying yes and that will be the first time that you actually speak to them.
If you are looking at network marketing for the first time or you have been in the industry for some time but have not been able to get it to work yet. Consider a network marketing Internet business that is simple to set up and fun to operate.

This is a completely unbiased and honest review of the TraVerus Travel opportunity. We have no affiliation with the
company in any way shape or form. TraVerus Travel was founded by their CEO David Manning in 2001. They are a licensed, bonded and certified travel agency. This is actually the first feature that separates them from similar travel companies. It is a very important aspect of the business because main stream travel agencies have been very aggressive towards companies like TraVerus, looking to get their doors closed. Perhaps they don’t like the competition, but as we all know competition in the market place in general is good for the consumer.
The research that we have performed on David Manning has not revealed anything negative worth reporting. According to our research, he has a background in network marketing compensation plans and business. Obviously this experience comes in handy when creating your own mlm.
When you join TraVerus as an agent, you actually become a licensed travel agent. Again this is not the case with all of the other travel mlms. This shows that TraVerus is really attempting to cross all of their T’s and dot all of their I’s. Having an ID card as a travel agent has many benefits for representatives outside of the company pay plan.
Company products -
Obviously the travel benefits are the companies main product and there are many to choose from. One that really stuck out was the TraVerus Member Trips. A selection of vacation packages for members that seemed to be very inexpensive. While travel is the heart of the company, TravVerus has also added some additional products. There my be many reasons for this and it does seem to be a smart move in that other travel companies are looking to close their doors as a travel mlm. Having additional products ready for the worst case scenario seems like it might not be such a bad idea. That’s not to say that TreVerus is going anywhere, but it’s just better to be safe than sorry. Some of these are the traditional health and wellness products. We really did not find anything out of the ordinary here. They seem like strong products, some of these products include, Restore It, Daily Cleanse, Daily Mist, and Charge It. They also offer a VOIP mobile phone service as well as video phone.
Compensation plan -
The TraVerus compensation plan is really like nothing we have ever seen before. It would fit that the founder of TraVerus was previously a designer of compensation plans because this plan is really very unique, new and interesting. It is called the 3D compensation plan. The reason is that it pays out in 3 different ways. It pays out coded bonuses, it has a binary with matching bonuses and it has a 3×9 forced matrix. This compensation seems to have something for everyone. There are up-front bonuses for power recruiters, matching bonuses for strong trainers and a matrix for people who might need some help from above. It’s a strong plan that we hope is an indication of where the industry might be headed.
Currently the TraVerus opportunity is available in 6 countries and we expect that they will continue to expand as the company grows.
Taking everything into consideration we believe the TraVerus Travel company to be a very solid business to get involved with if you are looking for a solid company with strong income opportunity.
As with any network marketing company it is important to know what it will take to become successful. Most importantly is your ability to generate a consistent flow of leads. Without a steady supply of fresh leads or prospects you will be certain to fail regardless of how strong the company is that you are with.
